Event map

An exhibition of drawing, painting, video and sculpture featuring four female artists who identify with quietness in relation to different natures within themselves or their works.

About

Featuring new works by artists Isobel Mei, Tamsin Nagel, Clara Rubin and Naomi Workman, the exhibition explores the visual discourse that arises through the artists mediums and processes, and presents a distinctively feminine way of looking. By combining these voices the outcome will speak strength in its collective volume.

Join us for our Private View on Friday 2nd August 18:00 - 21:00

Workshops will be carried out throughout the week and weekend. Please visit the event website for more information!

Clara Rubin’s painted still lifes explore inherently Italian scenes, domestic settings, and the every-day intimacy of the home. Born in 1988 in Milan, Italy, Clara graduated from Camberwell College of Art in 2011. She lives and works in Milan.

Naomi Workman’s paintings depict repeating motifs and places that exist to house her constructed visions. Born in 1990 in Somerset, United Kingdom, Naomi graduated Camberwell College of Art 2011 and The Royal Drawing School in 2018.

Tamsin Nagel’s intricately detailed pencil drawings explore seemingly beautiful subjects with solemn undertones. Born in Berlin in 1989, she graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2013, and lives and works in London, United Kingdom.

Isobel Mei’s structures and film pieces explore the physicality of movement, material and psychological space. Born in Bedfordshire in 1989, Isobel graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2011.
