Quercus Gallery's closing exhibition in Bath and online shop launch

About

Marking the end of Quercus’ time in Bath, QUERCUS COLLECTIONS is Quercus Gallery’s final exhibition in our lovely space at No. 1 Queen Street as we close doors at the end of February for a maternity leave sabbatical.  Please join us to celebrate the last three years and see the launch of our new online gallery: www.quercusgallerycollections.co.uk

Opening weekend:
Saturday 30 January: 11 am - 7 pm
Sunday 31 January:  11 am - 4 pm

This mixed discipline exhibition features work by many of our gallery artists including ...  Elisabeth Barry, Christopher Binding, Helen Booth, Dean Byass, Henrietta Corbett, Megan Collins, Vanessa Gardiner, Debbie Gerge, Emmeline Hastings, Fionna Hesketh, Sally James, Susan Laughton, Rhiannon Lewis, Ann Little, Chie Mannami, Heather McDermott, Alex McIntyre, Adrian Mitchell, Sally Muir, Karen Parker, Viki Pearce, Sandra Porter, Penny Price, Fran Regan, Nicola Tassie, Emma Teale, Gillian Thompson, Jessica Turrell, Matt Waite and Richard J S Young.

Amongst this line-up will be new collections of paintings by Susan Laughton and Sally Muir along with new porcelain necklaces by Elisabeth Barry and new jewellery by Heather McDermott and Karen Parker.  Having introduced many interesting artists to a Bath audience over the past three years we are delighted that our final show maintains this trait by presenting work by textile designer Heather Shields and Emily Kidson Jewellery, both new to the gallery.

Whilst this will be our last exhibition in our present space on Queen Street, Quercus Gallery will continue curating collections of contemporary art and craft, available to browse and buy online.

Our online shop comprises many artists associated with the gallery’s portfolio and will feature new artists too.  We are planning some events for 2016/2017 including our annual ADORN jewellery showcase to be housed in a new venue.  As the gallery evolves I hope you will follow our progress and I look forward to seeing you at exhibitions again in the future.
