About

Péter Türk has created, at every stage of his conceptual orientation, consistent and coherent work, outstanding works of international quality. For the first time, the well-known artwork, which has always been highly appreciated by the profession, but known only in limited circles, is unprocessed for the first time in its diversity in the form of an oeuvre exhibition and a catalog.

Péter Türk's oeuvre is characterized by systematics, thinking in structures and at the same time in series. With a toolbox that is reduced to the first glance from everyday issues, the conceptual richness of their works unfolds.

His early works were created by the lyrical abstraction and then formed minimalist geometric images and reliefs. From the beginning of the seventies he worked for conceptual-conceptual art. From the mid-seventies onwards, decades of decades, the media of photography and the technical versions of photography have become decisive for many decades - often as their own inventions.
With an unexpected, decisive personal god experience, he became a believer in 1989. Subsequently, he placed his work on new foundations: the analysis of vision and reality and the position of the artist began to be interpreted from the perspective of faith. Faith was open to the end of his life as an inclusive attitude in his works. His basic position was concealed in the symbolic-metaphorical forms concealed at first in the moment, a gentle but important option, reversing intentional intellectual intentions.

The exhibition - where many of its works are first presented to the audience - will certainly be a revelatory experience for both the profession and the general public.
