Pushing Print is an annual Festival of Printmaking in Margate, Kent. Its aim is to promote printmaking as a diverse and innovative artform to as wide an audience as possible and to actively engage the local community in its activities.
The Festival includes exhibitions, talks, workshops and interactive events for the public, including a Giant Steamroller Printing event.
The Open Exhibition includes selected works from 61 local, national and international artists on display in two venues in Margate Old Town.
Fringe events include an exhibition of large-scale linocuts and animations, an exhibition on Thanet's local printing heritage and a chance to screenprint a design onto an item of your choice.
