For the first time in Austria, a group of 15 selected paintings by ROB ADALIERD will be shown and accessible in the city of Vienna. This private art showing will take place at Village Café Restaurant, located in front of the mythical residential building Hundertwasser House.
About
For a few weeks, the walls of this cafe-restaurant will display the Adalierd’s abstract paintings. A large number of these iconic paintings have traveled all the way from Barcelona to Vienna to have this opportunity to be shown. During this period of time, the restaurants clients, personalities, art interested people, gallery owners, collectors, curators or just people passing by will be able to enjoy an interesting selection of the abstract paintings by this artist. All while enjoying a coffee or a warm dinner, without any invitation and at any time of the day.
This selection also includes a few of Adalierd’s most recent pieces developed in Vienna during 2018.

The exhibition, Pure Painting, presents a selected group of works with a focus on “just pure painting.” With a contrast between small and large formats, a constant movement between evoked abstractions and some kind of representational figuration, the artist is clearly in a continuous state of exploration and experimentation to reach new boundaries.
