About

Meditations on the energy of construction sites and parallel "Anti-lockdown" protests surging all around the world. The protests do not concern Covid 19 fundamentally but rather the issues in politics and in the economy.

The content of the exhibition includes representational construction site views and more symbolic interpretations of the title. It is self-referenced, leaning on the artist's past by questioning a person's multiple roles or unconscious survival strategies in ever-changing landscapes and situations. The exhibition continues the artist's conceptual interest in authority, iconography and contextuality.

As the human body is the structure of a human being, could it also be visualized as a construction site?

The artworks are mainly drawings and paintings covered with overlapping layers of red silk paper. Many shades of red.

Ulla Prami (born 1982) completed her Master of Architecture at Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland in 2010.
