About
An exciting collection of new smaller works by members of the Printmakers Council, the national organization of artists working in contemporary print processes.The exhibition will incorporate a multiplicity of techniques and subject matter, reflecting the breadth of artistic concerns and skills of the artists represented. Both traditional and innovative print techniques such as lithography, etching, wood engraving, linocut, screenprint, solar plate, photo etching, collage and monoprint will be included.
The artists have been asked to work within a size constraint of 40 x 30 cm, encouraging a degree of conciseness of thought and imagery, but at the same time large enough to hold a richness of vibrancy and detail. The exhibition should provide ample opportunity for visitors to add to their collections or purchase ideal Christmas gifts.
