PROFORMA is excited to exhibit once again at Pase Platform! With support from our Venetian partners, Pas-E, PROFORMA Pavilion is a one-day extravaganza of films and performances in collaboration with Manchester, UK organisations Longsight Art Space and Venture Arts
About
2022 marks five years of PROFORMA and in this time we have developed from a concept of a one-day contemporary live art exhibition to and artist development and live art commissioning organisation. We have a new venue at Longsight Art Space, Manchester UK and to celebrate this, at PROFORMA Pavilion we are presenting a retrospective film showcase along with a new performance with Venture Arts to signal our future direction.
We will present films including PROFORMA at The Dancehouse, Manchester UK (2018), LOITER (2021) and DESIRE LINES films Network by Hannah Buckley and Sustainability by Kirubel Belay.
We are extremely excited to present FLORA VICTORIOUS in Venice, a performance by Venture Ars artists Joe Mills and Raven Keating, and artist Ruby Tingle. This performance combines their practices to create a one-off soundscape and immersive performance based on their explorations together in the natural world.
