Procrastinate, Mathew Vieira Solo Show

The symbiosis of technology and traditional media is a recurring theme with in Mathew Vieira's paintings. Procrastinate is a culmination of work produced by Vieira on his residency at The Muse Gallery, during which he has continued to develop his work on portraits which examine the relationship we have with the screen. By capturing images of people so engrossed with their hand held devices, Vieira breaks down these images into planes and emphasis' colour to heighten the screens presence although it is not visible. The show is supported by Pescatori Restaurant, a well established name found in London's Mayfair and Fitzrovia. Pescatori will be providing food for the private view event. Debut Contemporary are also sponsoring the artist Mathew Vieira.
