About

The Probebühne 6 is opening on March 25, 2015 in the Dahlem Museums. This represents a continuation of the Humboldt Lab’s experimental exhibition format that has been implemented since 2012. The three new projects are dedicated to a continuation of the aim of developing new and contemporary forms of exhibiting non-European collections. In addition to new content in the Listening Room as part of the “Music Listening” project, two new projects are central: “Object Biographies” and “Enchantment / Beauty Parlour,” which have the history of collecting as their theme, and grapple with the challenges of communicating unusual aesthetic concepts in a direct and tangible way. In addition, the program also continues to include workshops in the series “Asking Questions” which, with the help of external experts, reviews what has been achieved so far.

More information about the opening program on March 25, 2015 at 7pm can be found here.
