About

Following the Open Show 2006 two people were voted for by public and Gallery staff to win a commission of £500 to make new work for the Surface Gallery. Prizes went to Tomas Chaffe, Nottingham for 'Temperature Rising', a discreet intervention in the exhibition, and to Ben Rivers, Brighton, for 'We Are The People', a short black and white film.
