Come along and meet ‘OUTLINES’ exhibiting artist Susan Wheeler at the O3 Gallery on Saturday 15th November, 2-4pm when she will be demonstrating her skills as a printmaker.
About
Oxfordshire-based artist Susan Wheeler trained at the Central School of Art and Design, London and at Bristol University. A designer and producer of handmade, decorative and functional ceramic tiles for many years, Wheeler has more recently started exploring printmaking – working with linocuts in particular. Subjects of her work include the Wittenham Clumps, the Vale of the White Horse and Didcot’s infamous power station. She is a member of the Oxford Printmakers Cooperative, and the Oxford Arts Society. Her linocuts are currently on show as part of the O3 Gallery’s exhibition ‘OUTLINES’ which explores the contoured forms of the British landscape.
