About
Please join us for the opening of two new exhibitions, Partial Presence and Invites: Athena Papadopoulos, on Thursday 29 January.
Partial Presence is curated by students of the MFA Curating courses at Goldsmiths College and The Cass, London Metropolitan University. The culmination of a three month collaboration, the exhibition takes inspiration from the cyclical nature of existence to explore concepts of materiality, affect and meaning. Artists featured include Francis Alÿs, Ed Atkins, Miroslaw Balka, Matthew Barney, Laurel Nakadate, Wolfgang Tillmans and Gillian Wearing, alongside a selection of artists invited by the curators.
For the first Zabludowicz Collection Invites exhibition we present a range of new works by Athena Papadopoulos. Bringing together diverse imagery and an array of techniques, the exhibition will feature anthropomorphic sculptures and a large-scale painting which invite engagement through their expressive layered forms and visual narratives.
The exhibitions will be accompanied by a public programme of weekly curator-led exhibition tours, family workshops, talks and film screenings.
