A shared affection and understanding of the British Landscape Tradition provides the backdrop and context for this exhibition of recent works by four painters. From Classical through to the Romantic, Realist and Surrealist Traditions these artists have each taken the landscape motif in differing directions. However, certain themes such as the Figure or Object in the Landscape emerge as a mutual interest.
