The Richard Young Gallery is delighted to announce the launch of Pret-a-Photo, an exhibition providing visitors with a quick and easy way to go home with their perfect print.While standard practice when buying from galleries involves lengthy waits and plenty of patience, the gallery's new collection will be available for immediate sale. Following the history of 'art shops' such as Keith Haring's Pop Shop and Tracey Emin and Sarah Lucas' Store, works in Pret-a-Photo will be taken off the wall and handed to the customer in its frame. With prices ranging from 50 gbp ' 2500 gbp, there truly is something for everyone.
Richard Young Gallery continues its reputation for striking and unique shows with this special selection. Images available by the acclaimed photographer Richard Young include exclusive, never-before-seen shots of Hollywood icons such as Sophia Loren, Jack Nicholson, John Travolta, rock royalty Queen, The Who and art legend Andy Warhol. Additional photographs of striking urban street scenes and unique events display his keen eye and subtle wit. This selection from the mid-seventies to early eighties is a true showcase of his diverse oeuvre.
Work by six other photographers is also on display, creating a varied and unique show to suit all tastes. Intimate and inimitable, any print from this selection provides the perfect Christmas present, birthday surprise or personal treat.
