Bei der Hopscotch Präsentation im Rahmen der Ausstellung »Intimate Matter« stellt Kodwo Eshun seine Bücherserie zum Thema »Pan-Africanism« vor und spricht über deren Ursprünge, Auswirkungen und Reichweite. Moses März zeigt einige der Karten, die er für die aktuelle Ausgabe des afrikanischen Literaturmagazins »Chimurenga Chronic: The African Imagination of a Borderless World« entworfen hat, und berichtet von den redaktionellen Überlegungen und der Recherche, die in die Karten geflossen sind.
 
Durch den Abend führt der Gründer von Hopscotch, Siddhartha Lokanandi. Seine Gesprächspartner sind der Schriftsteller und Filmemacher Kodwo Eshun und der Politikwissenschaftler Moses März.
 
Hopscotch Reading Room ist ein nicht-kommerzieller Buchladen, Lese- und Veranstaltungsort in Berlin, der für einen Abend unser Gast im Bärenzwinger ist.

During the presentation of Hopscotch Reading Room within the exhibition »Intimate Matter«, Kodwo Eshun will show his book series on the topic of »Pan Africanism« and speaks about its origins, impact and its reach. Moses März will present some of the maps he produced for the latest issue of the African magazine »Chimurenga Chronic: The African Imagination of a Borderless World«, along with the editorial debates and research process that informed them.
 
Siddhartha Lokanandi, the initiator of Hopscotch Reading Room will moderate the talk with Kodwo Eshun, writer and film-maker, and Moses März, political scientists.
 
Hopscotch Reading Room is an non-commercial book shop, reading room and event space in Berlin, and our guest for this evening at Bärenzwinger.
