A silent Walk through Wolverhampton city centre by women dressed in white, wearing purple sashes and giving out cards with the quote ‘deeds not words’. We will be stopping at historically profound locations in the city and forming lines holding hands. There a photography exhibition afterwards showing portraits of the participants with statements of who they walked for. The idea is to provide a safe space for women to engage with each other working towards a collective experience, stand together in silence for ourselves and each other, then present to the local areas and engage communities in talking about taking action for the representation of women.
