This coming May 29, coinciding with the award ceremony for the Miquel Casablancas Prize in visual arts, a double exhibition will open to present the works submitted by the artists shortlisted this year, as well as the projects produced by the artists that took part in the Sant Andreu Contemporani 2014 programme of residencies: Ariadna Parreu, Ro Caminal and Daniel Moreno.
The Miquel Casablancas Prize visual arts competition is a reference for this type of event in Spain, providing a showcase for the most outstanding initiatives in the field of emerging contemporary art. This year, more than 300 projects were presented to the call for proposals, which establishes four categories: work, project, publication and graphic communication.
The exhibition opens at 9 pm on May 29 and closes on June 12. Further information here.
