Sister Corita Kent (1918 - 1986) was a Catholic nun who lived and practised in California and was one of the most innovative and unusual pop artists of the 1960s. Here you can see some of her prints which combine advertising slogans and poetry and are now recognised as some of the most striking and joyful American art of the 60s
