Installation and performance from the Inivators and Tania El Khoury

About

Performance artist Tania El Khoury collaborates with the Inivators (Iniva's Youth Advisory Board) to present Possible Damage at Rivington Place, an exhibition and archive of London's recent student protests. Collectively they have investigated the construction of a social memory and the consequent realities. It provides a platform through which we can imagine the shared experiences, narratives and conflicts of those involved. Possible Damage: Re-Collection 1 is an Installation performance, the first in a series of experiential events exploring the archive of Possible Damage with the Inivators. Part of our archive is dedicated to those who we call 'the disappeared'. We still don't know where these people are or how they disappeared, although of course we all have our suspicions. We know little of their identities but we do know that their actions, as anonymous beings, have influenced us all. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An immersive live piece, an installation and public interventions by the Inivators (Iniva's Youth Advisory Board) and artist Tania El Khoury probe concerns shared with Rabih Mroué. Possible Damage investigates construction of social memory and its consequent realities. It forms a collective archive through which we can imagine a group's shared experiences, narritives and conflicts. Find out more: www.rivingtonplace.org
