Experiment with your digital camera to pick up composition tips. This informal session, led by portrait photographer Jonathan Turner, is aimed at beginners and intermediate level photographers. Please bring your own digital camera.

About

Experiment with your digital camera with portrait photographer Jonathan Turner. You will learn its functions, pick up some composition tips and consider how to process your digital files, while taking a test portrait photographs. This is an informal session aimed at beginners to intermediate level photographers. Please bring your own camera; DSLR or Bridge advisable.

About the Tutor:

Jonathan Turner’s photographic work is primarily portrait based, and often deals with issues around identity. He has a long history of working with communities, both in the capacity of producing photography, teaching photography skills and facilitating participatory photography projects, including Street Studio, a project supported by East Street Arts, Leeds Inspired and Trinity Leeds Young Talent Fund. He works regularly to commission and on his own personal projects.
