Porthleven: A Peripatetic Encounter, Bath Spa Porthleven Prize 2014

Students from Bath Spa University have been working with Oxford Castle's O3 Gallery to produce an exhibition of contemporary art. This exhibition entitled Porthleven: A Peripatetic Encounter presents the work of five art students who each were awarded a fully-funded artist residency at the Porthleven Lifeboat Art Studio, Cornwall in May 2014 as part of the Bath Spa Porthleven Prize. The Bath Spa Porthleven Prize, now in its second year, is an opportunity for Bath Spa students to take part in a fully-funded ten day residency based in the Cornish Studio, with travel, accommodation and other expenses included. Whilst there, the students work together to produce a body of collaborative work in any discipline including performance and text, as well as visual art.
