Turner Contemporary’s Portfolio competition recognises and celebrates the creative talents of pupils, students, educators and community groups across Kent, providing a platform for artists of all ages.

About

This year the Portfolio theme Art Rebels took inspiration from one of the most daring visual art prizes in the world, The Turner Prize, which we’ll be hosting in autumn 2019. On display in the Clore Learning Studio are the selected winning works, which took risks, broke the mould and dared to be different. Explore what it means to be an art rebel in this exhibition that is guaranteed to get people talking.

The portfolio is run by Turner Contemporary in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University and supported by:

Canterbury College

East Kent College

Rob Parker, Go Vicinity Creative, Canterbury

Kent and Medway Progression Federation

David Lilford, Lilford Gallery, Canterbury

Linden Hall Gallery, Deal
