The kitchen is a transient space , a space where instant moments occur and lots of happenings. We are looking for artists to join us as we turn the kitchen into a Pop-up heterotopian gallery, installing your objects and artworks into this everyday space.
About
- We are calling all artists to join in a one off, unique Pop-up exhibition where we construct your objects within the warmth of the kitchen.
- It will give an opportunity for your work to be viewed by a wider public and a chance for you to intsall outside of a standard gallery space.
- We are hoping to bring the kitchen outdoors and build an exciting space to install your work into
- By using the kitchen we will be changing the perception of what we consider conventional, instead of the constant happening the viewer will be able to stop for a brief moment and view your work. We depend on the Kitchen but we often only use it as a space to move through.
- This will take place in December in a kitchen around the Farnham area (date and specific location soon to be confirmed)
