Iain Sinclair talks at CREATE10s Politics and Ideas in Londons East End special event

About

East London has a rich history of radical thought, a site of key political developments across the ages. This session invites key philosophers, political commentators, historians and politicians for an open discussion on East London today. Speakers in this panel include Iain Sinclair, British writer and film maker, and Polly Toynbee, Columnist, The Guardian. Staged as part of the CREATE10 arts festival in the five London 2012 host boroughs. CREATE10, sponsored by Deutsche Bank, is a major annual arts festival showcasing artists and creative venues in the five London 2012 host boroughs in East and South East London, Europe's largest cultural quarter. More than 200 activities are now underway in Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, where more than 12,000 artists live and work. CREATE10 Continues until 1 August 2010.
