JOANNA BIRD cordially invites you to this Autumn Exhibition, featuring a selection of outstanding contemporary pieces and historic masters. 'Point of Balance' welcomes you to take pleasure in the work on display and to contemplate each artist’s approach to the theme.

The JOANNA BIRD GALLERY is delighted to announce its Autumn Exhibition.
Point of Balance
The Exhibition will run from 11th October – 16th December, Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00am – 5.00pm. We look forward to showing a selection of outstanding contemporary pieces and historic masters, set within the three Galleries and the garden.
The work being shown draws on a wide variety of art and craft disciplines: sculptural ceramics, porcelain, dichroic glass & cast glass, and conceptual art.
In this ground-breaking Exhibition, Point of Balance, the artists represented include: Dawn Bendick, whose work has recently been acquired by the National Museum of Norway, Halima Cassell, Florian Gadsby, Sun Kim, Bernard Leach, Lucille Lewin, Lucie Rie, Kaja Upelj, Matthew Warner (QEST scholar) and Gregory Warren Wilson. In addition, and to add further interest, each artist has been asked to consider and write about how Point of Balance reveals itself in their work.
We will be announcing future evening events in association with the Joanna Bird Foundation. These will include talks by Dawn Bendick with Gregory Warren Wilson; Halima Cassell on her practice, and more.
