Fiona McIntyre will be giving a workshop on the alchemy of ink-making working with organic materials from trees and plants. You will take home painted samples on cotton-rag paper and printed recipes from the demonstration.

About

Fiona McIntyre will transform flowers and tree material to make three primary colours + black and brown using mordants and alchemy. She will also give some background to these ancient recipes and their historical significance. None of these materials are toxic and Fiona has chosen the most lightfast plants to work with. Fiona is an Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmaker and a founding member of the Aborealists. She is an experienced tutor teaching drawing & painting, workshops & public talks.
