About

In the centenary year of Titanic's ill-fated maiden voyage we are displaying recently discovered material from our collection illustrating work Pilkington's Lancastrian Pottery and Tiles completed for the White Star Line ship. An original design and series of photographs depict tiles installed in Titanic's Turkish Baths, rooms that proved the highlight of the exploratory dive made by James Cameron for Sky's Discovery Channel in 2005 entitled Last Mysteries of the Titanic. This display is a result of support and expertise of Angela and Barry Corbett and Pilkington's Lancastrian Pottery Society, for which we are very grateful.
