About

Originally from Jerusalem, Israel, Pil and Galia Kollectiv moved to London to study on the Goldsmiths MA course and at Central St Martins. This will be their first solo show in London.

Pil and Galia Kollectiv work collaboratively as artists, curators and journalist: in London they have curated and been involved in a number of group projects including Modern Lovers at Three Colts Gallery, Turn to the Left at 291 Gallery and Diamonds for Workers at Kate MacGarry. These projects have quickly established their reputation for producing cutting-edge, cross-disciplinary projects that unpick the diluted form of modernism that still permeates contemporary popular culture, and seeks a new life amongst the ruins of the twentieth century.
