The pigment making process is integral to Walsh's work. His paintings in ‘Into the Black' represent a spectrum of tones limited to the colour black. Each tone has been specifically and purposely achieved through an age old process of mixing various components together. This workshop will demonstrate these processes and invite you to create your own pigments.
