Returning for its seventh year, the festival features international top emerging illustrators and designers as well as more established names in graphic arts. See a selection of Collectives, Galleries and Studios create their own spaces and take up residency throughout the festival and enjoy a diverse programme of daily talks and workshops with artists, designers and illustrators.
The festival includes a retrospective exhibition of typographer and printmaker, Alan Kitching, charting his career from apprentice to world-renowned designer. Visit part of his studio at the festival and see his letterpress in action.
This year Pick Me Up is part of UTOPIA 2016: A Year of Imagination and Possibility, and focuses on the themes of community within the graphic arts.
