The Picasso-Giacometti exhibition is organized by the Musée national Picasso-Paris in collaboration with the Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation (Paris) from October 4, 2016 to February 5, 2017.
About
It will shed a new light on the relations (formal, social and iconographic) between these two important artists from the 20th Century.
One part of the exhibition will be shown in the new exhibition space of the Giacometti Foundation which opened in Paris in 2016.
This dialogue between the collections of the Musée national Picasso-Paris and the Foundation Alberto and Annette Giacometti, will juxtapose Picasso's and Giacometti's approach in various fields of creation : painting, sculpture, graphic arts. Both artists' private archives will complement the presentation.
