About
The Hepatitis C Trust’s fundraising arm, Art on a Postcard will transform into Photography on a Postcard for the month of October. They plan to replicate the success they’ve had in the art world with photography and are giving upcoming talent the chance to show alongside the likes of Martin Parr, Wolfgang Tillmans, Dougie Wallace, Edmund Clarke, Tom Hunter, Simon Norfolk, Chris Steele Perkins, Jenny Lewis, Homer Sykes, Eleanor Macnair, David Hoffman and many more well known and loved photographers. (full list TBC)
The photos will be displaying at theprintspace, Shoreditch from 12th – 27th October, with a Private View taking place on the evening of the 12th.
Budding fashion, fine art, reportage and street photographers have until 31st July to submit their work for the show. Dougie Wallace will be sitting on the judging panel along with industry experts from Art on a Postcard and theprintspace.
The public will be able to purchase a ticket guaranteeing them a photograph, although they won’t know which card they have won until the show closes on 26th October. Each photograph will be a postcard sized edition of one and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
All the money raised will go to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign to eliminate hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030.
