About
Alex Pownall from the Forest of Dean has benn inspired to photograph the many moods of the Severn Estuary and Lynne Owens from Hereford has also taken water surfaces as her theme. Ian Gorton photographs Forest of Dean landscapes and digitises them to produce fine art quality impressions. Chris Hall, poet and artist from Abergavenny has created photomontages around the 'tales we told of Old Tilery'. He writes:
"These are new pictures, originally shown as part of a solo show in The Kickplate Gallery. Since then they have undergone some further refinement and amendment.. All the images, except those from maps and historical prints, were taken by me over the past few months, in and around Abertillery.
My primary aim was to synthesise certain urban elements with versions of the stunning countryside bordering the town, Cwntillery Lake and its surroundings in particular."
