About
The photographs selected for this exhibition reveal a connection between the artist’s thoughts, what she sees, where she places herself in relation to the subject and how the camera captures the resulting images. They are usually spontaneous and immediate reactions to the world around the artist, but through their selection and the attention to formal concerns in their production, they question the nature of art and the role of photography in it.
Laura graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the University of the Arts, London in 2004. Following this, she continued to take photographs as part of her art practice whilst spending three years running an art collective. She set up the LT Gallery in 2016.
She has exhibited work at the Phoenix Cinema in London, the Octagon Gallery in Bath and the John Bowen Gallery in Malmesbury.
