Join photographer Dan Fontanelli in this two-day workshop in analogue nature photography, designed for beginners.

About

The Gallery’s beautiful gardens will provide the perfect backdrop for you to explore and hone your analogue nature photography skills. You’ll learn how to use traditional cameras and film developing kits, as well as creating bespoke images from cutting and piecing together negatives. Dan will then create prints using your negatives, which you will use as a basis to learn hand-colouring techniques in the second session. You’ll come away with an insight into the basics of analogue photography, professional guidance, and a range of your own beautiful nature-inspired prints.

These sessions are ideal for working in pairs, so we recommend booking with a friend, however you’re welcome to attend on your own.

Dan Fontanelli is a professional photographer, filmmaker, educator and owner of Bright Rooms studio, built to share a passion for analogue techniques.

All materials are included. Please book by 26 June to ensure we can provide these. Contact learning@dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk with any questions.
