About
TALK DESCRIPTIONArchitecture and Drawing: Observation, interpretation and imagination. Phil Meadowcroft operates an award-winning architectural practice based in London. His main interest is in what binds communities together, and as an architect he sees drawing as central to engaging with the question of what makes a good building. He has kept sketchbooks constantly, as a way of sensing and recording spaces on his travels, merging observation and imagination. Phil will discuss how through drawing, conversations and ideas are made visible and negotiated towards definition of detail and built form.
