"What a privilege it is for us to see things. The art of photography is no different to any other. What's important is to look? Looking is the thing." Still, the next exhibition to be held at The Original Gallery is centered around connections, relationships, time and kindness, Pete Millson's photography captures those moments that we are almost always too busy to notice. He just hopes ‘you have time enough to enjoy them.' Inspired by the photography that he found in books, exhibitions and even by photos taken by friends and family; Pete decided to learn from what he liked. His career has gone from putting together a portfolio and visiting the offices of NME to working as a freelance photographer for major newspapers. Pete has even published his own book Home Entertainment; a chronicle of photographs he had taken whilst working as a photojournalist. From Ricky Gervais to Keith Richards, R.E.M. to Elvis Costello, Lenny Kravitz to Amy Winehouse, Pete Millson has photographed them all.
