This week's theme is NOISE, curated by Hannah Evans and Eleanor Green.
A night of interruption, disorientation and noise. Looking back on the history of the venue, Joyeux Bordel, we will be interrogating the role noise plays, as a music genre and otherwise, in our lives as occupants of the city. From Merzbow to Ade Fakile, we will look into how noise can be both a way to sink into the daily grind and how it can effectively stage a jarring interruption to it. Is the city lost? Are we? What do we do with the lost and sound?
