Mr Purnam is showing at space fiftyfour with his first solo exhibition: ‘Pause and Effect' Brighton based artist, Mr Purnam, is pleased to present an exhibition featuring new large-scale, hand-finished multiples on paper. Mr Purnam's new work reflects and reacts to the frantic pace of today's 24-hour urban lifestyle. In the seemingly never-ending battle just to keep up, individual thoughts and feelings soon become lost in a chaotic maelstrom. By freeze-framing these hectic moments, Mr Purnam draws attention to their complexities and simultaneously creates space for reflection and introspection. The opening night is Wednesday November 2nd 2011 from 6.30pm. The exhibition will run until November 9th 2011.
