It has been four years since Paul Wright's last solo exhibition at Modern Artists Gallery, Berkshire and he returns triumphantly this November with a powerful selection of new work. Wright's skill as a portrait painter has become widely recognised following his selection as a finalist for the prestigious BP National Portrait Award in 2006 and he enjoys great success both in this country and abroad. A host of recent solo exhibitions in London sparked interest in the USA and he became Artist in Residence at the Texas State University where his work still hangs.
