Dropped Tissues Indicating Inner Turmoil is a series of sculptural works by Manchester-based artist Paul Cordwell, produced from 2008 - 2011. Cordwell's appropriation of quotidian objects pervades his current practice, which comprises sculpture, video, and installation. In Dropped Tissues Indicating Inner Turmoil, Cordwell reassesses the use-value of mass-produced objects in order to question how valueless items acquire status as art-objects.
