About

Opening October 9th 2008 is the specially selected date for Patrick Thomas's London show at Nelly Duff. Its an important date as it falls on the 51st anniversary of Che Guevara's death in 1967. Patrick was part of the 50th anniversary show at the Victoria & Albert Museum with his 'American Investment in Cuba' work. Spookily the date is also the birthday of another subject of PT, John Lennon whom has been a major subject for Patrick's artwork with his series of work titled 'Kalashnikovs and Rickenbackers', the Rickenbacker was the guitar John Lennon was famous for playing and the Kalashnikov was the weapon he life was cut short with... Patrick is ultimately a political illustrator, he creates powerful yet subtle images (check out 'Lets all unite with Africa') Original Artworks and super sharp screen-prints will be available from the show... Opening View: Thursday 9th October 2008 at 6pm Show dates: 9-11th October 08
