This exhibition will preview a new body of work exploring aspects of the artist's identity as delineated by his given names.
Patrick Stern has exhibited his work in the UK, Europe and Japan. He also had pieces displayed in the collections of the Broadfield House Glass Museum, the V&A, Dan Klein & Alan J. Poole (Private Collection) in London. Two pieces were included in the British Glass Biennale 2004 as well as three further pieces for the British Glass Biennale 2006.
A commission was completed in 2000 for the cruise liner 'Explorer of the Seas', for art work for alcoves on four stairwell landings. Stern also was commissioned in 2002 by Kings Avenue Primary School, Lambeth to create twenty textured blocks for inclusion into the walls of the building at a child's eye level height, as visual/tactile landmarks, as the school caters for the partially sighted.
