Memorial is a new work conceived by local artist Patrick Cole for Southwark Park Galleries’ Dilston Gallery.
About
The work was developed during Cole’s spring 2019 residency, commissioned by Southwark Park Galleries in celebration of our 35th Anniversary.

Patrick Cole lives and works in south London. He graduated from Camberwell College of Art in London in 2005 and with a Master of Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art in 2014. Recent exhibitions include: Restaurant, Whitstable Biennale 2018; Grow, Sunday Painter Gallery, London 2018; Bardism (BBQ), Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Edinburgh 2017; Bullfighting, Crownpoint Studios, Glasgow International, Glasgow, 2016; Hippy! Neoterismoi Toumazou, Nicosia, 2016 and A Cowboy’s Rite of Passage, CCA, Glasgow, 2015.
Patrick was shortlisted for the Converse x Dazed Emerging Artist Award, The Royal Academy, London in 2015; included in the Catlin Guide, 2015; received Performancepreis, Filigran Trägersysteme GmbH & Co KG, 2014 and was included in Bloomberg New Contemporaries in 2013
