This Summer Rostra Gallery reaches new heights with its largest exhibition yet! The new exhibition features artists from the gallery’s impressive 20 year collection and highlights the best artwork of past and present.

About

A collection of screen prints from the late Donald Hamilton Fraser will be on display, his iconic style combined with bold colour, texture and movement has been an important part of Rostra’s exhibitions and being a member of the Royal Academy has seen his work in many public and private collections across the UK. Trevor Price is one of Rostra Gallery’s longest exhibiting artists; his etchings and relief prints capture intimate and fun moments between couples. They also show his love of shape and form and a constant appreciation for his surroundings. His work has developed through the years and has gained great acclaim with many collectors across the UK and Europe. Over the last 6 years Rostra Gallery has also been very pleased to show the extraordinary work of Dan Baldwin who creates multi-layered screen prints that delve into the sublime with imagery and motifs that range from dark and sinister to colour and beauty. In this exhibition there will be a mix of new and rare pieces available to view and purchase.

A new collection of sculpture will be on display from gallery favourite Joanne Cooke who produces one of a kind sculptural dogs that capture the charm and character of each beautiful breed and alongside will be another great of Rostra’s sculptural artists in the form of Suzie Marsh who has an amazing eye for detail and is inspired by the beauty and character of animals across the globe. Suzie also works with various animal charities with proceeds from sales funding many sanctuaries and foundations such the Zoological Society of London, Turgwe Hippo Sanctuary and the Animals Asia Foundation.

As ever Rostra Gallery is proud to promote new and emerging talent and are pleased to present Victoria Topping who is based at Bath Artist Studios creating large scale colourful prints that evolve digitally but come together as a mixed media process inspired by music, photography and a love of art. Phaedra Politis will also be joining the gallery with her large-scale kiln fired glass sculpture. The work has been inspired by the beauty and colour of butterfly wings but is transformed into artworks suitable for indoor or outdoor use
