About

Parklives is a photographic project, showcasing the work of Udall Evans and Matt Scandrett, celebrating the people who use Lloyd and Avenling Park, East London. The park has been here for over a century and is located in the grounds of the historic William Morris Gallery. As one of the few open green spaces in the borough, it is used by a wide variety of people from teenage skaters and graffiti artists to the local bolwing teams and elderly women walking their dogs. As a year long venture that began in spring 2007 , the photography aims to provide unique reflection of this diverse and vibrant space of E17, celebrating the park as a place of community and cultural worth.
