About
Enya Lachman-Curl is a painter, born 1990, who has exhibited in the UK and USA. She has recently moved from Glasgow to London; this show presents a new body of work created in her studio in Hackney Wick.
Enya’s work aims to explore the ongoing relationship between nature and man: notions of structure and order in conflict with decay and re-growth.
In her latest work she introduces the use of wood veneers and in-lays, creating stark lines which contrast with her intricate brushwork.
‘Parallels’ presents a series of surreal glimpses into an imagined world.
