About
Artists taking part:Laura Clarke, James Unsworth, Alistair Burleigh in Collaboration with Alise Piebalga, Kristian de La Riva, Aukje Dekker, Andres Londono and the special guest artist Raul Pina.
Parallel Connections is a curatorial project ; which concept involves ideas about post-human trends, what does mean in this exhibition: an interaction of the contemporary humankind facing the dehumanization caused by the capitalism machine, where the individual has become another mass produced product.
This exhibition explores these approaches in an attempt for broaden audience knowledge about this process and that it has already begun. In order to provide the sense of this concept to the viewers, we will be displaying series of video installations and performances. Which main objective is generating an uncanny sensation, to make consider the visitors other ways of being and thinking.
