Mile End Art Pavilion presents work by a selection of 11 artists of mixed-heritage and mixed-ethnicities. They share with us their multiple perspectives on individual cultural identity, exploring how cultural location and context shapes our perceptions of the world.
This diverse collection of artwork encompassing painting, photography, film and installation, is a creative contribution to the collective dialogue on the truths and illusions of cultural definitions, boundaries and inter-communications.
These artists reveal, from multiple viewpoints, complex layers of our diverse and globalised society, with each artist taking the viewer on a journey of shifting perspectives.
